Meet Maira

Maira Guzman, Receptionist

Maira grew up spending time with all kinds of animals on her great grandparent’s farm in Peru, as well as having several family dogs since the age of 4 years old. 

Before coming to Properties Animal Clinic, she worked in the coffee industry for 6 years, but recently decided it was time to make the switch to animal care. Maira has had a passion for animals for as long as she can remember and enjoys pet sitting all animals, from dogs and cats to rodents and reptiles.

Maira is excited to join the Properties team and hopes to eventually continue her education in the field to become a Registered Veterinary Technician.

She lives with her cat, Baltazar, two ball pythons, Thelonius and Cornelius, and a leopard gecko, Lionel.

After work you can find her in the dance studio or learning how to roller skate, and on weekends she likes to hike or attend local music shows.
